PipeClass, Version 1.2
PipeClass v1.2 is Windows-based software for the design of steel reinforced concrete pipelines. It replaces the previous version, PipeClass v1.1, following the release of the revised Standards, AS/NZS 4058 and AS/NZS 3725. It includes the following features:
INSTALLATION SPECIFICATION:
Generic specifications for installation conditions, in accordance with AS/NZS 3725 “Design for installation of buried concrete pipe", can be generated to assist with the appropriate specification requirements.
SHORT TERM CONSTRUCTION LOADS:
Don’t forget that concrete pipes can be subjected to short-term loads on site that may not be in line with long-term live loads. The software has a long list of construction equipment loads that may be found on site before the pipeline is put in service. The loads are checked and displayed graphically to represent the true loading conditions, and to allow the designer to make the necessary adjustments.
DETAILED OUTPUTS:
The completed design can be downloaded with detailed calculations to hard copy or pdf. Trench installation drawings can be converted to dxf or bmp format for inclusion into drawings. Construction load information and installation specifications can be printed or exported in word/excel format for inclusion into job specifications.
